Howie Meyer, your guide, has over 35 years of experience in guiding his clients to fish in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.  Seven Islands Guide Service is located in Presque Isle Wisconsin near the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Spend one day on the water with this local legend in the Presque Isle area, and you'll think you went to the University of Lunker Fishing.  Howie's ability to read big water and weather is uncanny.

Thirty Five years of muskie, walleye and smallmouth fishing has honed his skills at locating and catching big fish.  Howie is cast from the same mold as the "old time Northwoods guides" of the past. Besides catching fish, learning new techniques, you'll also have one of the best times of your life, as Howie is a master of "one liners" and poking good-natured fun at his clients.  Howie is on the pro-staff for Hugh's River Lures ,H2o Tackle,Tuffy boats and  is a seminar speaker on deep water muskie presentations.

Whether you're a skilled angler, a novice or a family just out to catch something that swims, Howie can both educate and entertain you.  Seven Islands Guide Service specializes in fishing the waters of Presque Isle Wisconsin, Vilas County Wisconsin, the Gile Flowage in Iron County Wisconsin and other area trophy lakes including Private (no public access) lakes such as Armour and Katinka. 

We can customize a trip for you.  We can night fish, do split days or arrange a family trip with the kids.  No group is too large or too small.  We work with Skyview Lodge and Carlin Club Lodge in Presque Isle for larger groups and accommodations.  We can also make suggestions for lodging for smaller groups.

In addition to the normal guiding services, Howie also offers one of the best four hour lake orientation tours, utilizing underwater cameras.  Howie shows you the structural "hot spots" and fish patterns on some of the best trophy lakes in Wisconsin.  Even seasoned pros have raved about this orientation service that will save you many hours of effort in learning new waters.

Our Equipment:

• Tuffy Esox Magnum powerd by a Four Stroke Mercury Engine.
• We Featur Lowrance electronics and Minnkota Trolling Motors.
• We supply fishing tackle if needed.
• Gas and Live Bait is included in your daily fees.

What To Bring:

• Your own fishing tackle and gear (if you want or we can supply)
• Appropriate clothing for the season
• Sun Screen
• Rain Gear
• Camera
• Hat and fishing glasses
• Wisconsin Fishing License
• A respect for the resource and a love of nature
• Please plan on bringing a lunch to eat on the water unless other arrangements are made with us to take a lunch break.
